YOUR IMPACT:
As a Senior Manager within OpenText Professional Services, you will play a critical leadership role in driving the success of the SAP Ecosystem Practice. You will lead a high-performing team of consultants and solution experts, enabling customers to maximize the value of their OpenText and SAP investments.
You will be responsible for managing delivery excellence, resource utilization, customer satisfaction, and business growth while fostering innovation and continuous improvement. By collaborating with customers, sales, pre-sales, architects, and regional delivery teams, you will help organizations accelerate their digital transformation journeys through effective implementation of OpenText solutions and SAP technologies.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10–15 consultants within the Content-Ecosystem Practice.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on employee engagement, accountability, and continuous learning.
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to ensure successful project execution and professional growth.
Drive workforce planning, utilization management, and resource allocation to optimize delivery capacity and minimize bench time.
Project & Delivery Excellence
Oversee the successful delivery of customer projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
Partner with project managers and technical leads to manage project risks, dependencies, and escalations.
Support project teams through solution reviews, delivery governance, and best-practice implementation.
Ensure customers achieve measurable business outcomes and maximize ROI from OpenText solutions.
Solutioning & Pre-Sales Support
Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and solution architects to develop customer-focused solutions.
Lead discussions related to OpenText VIM, xECM, and SAP ecosystem offerings.
Contribute to proposal development, Statements of Work (SoWs), effort estimation, and project planning.
Build Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and solution demonstrations aligned to customer requirements.
Operational Excellence
Establish and maintain accurate resource forecasting and capacity planning models.
Monitor team performance metrics, utilization, project health, and delivery effectiveness.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance implementation quality and customer onboarding experiences.
Support business growth by developing reusable service offerings, accelerators, and delivery packages.
Innovation & Strategic Contribution
Promote innovation and automation initiatives across the practice.
Leverage emerging technologies, including AI and ML, to improve delivery efficiency and customer value.
Contribute to practice development strategies and support long-term business objectives.
Collaborate with global and regional teams to share best practices and strengthen OpenText service capabilities.
What you will need to succeed:
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in SAP consulting, implementation, delivery management, or professional services.
Proven experience managing and leading consulting or delivery teams.
Strong understanding of SAP business processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and related functional areas.
Experience delivering SAP, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP SuccessFactors projects.
Strong project and delivery management experience with customer-facing engagements.
Experience in resource planning, utilization management, and delivery forecasting.
Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, presentation, and communication skills.
Experience preparing Statements of Work (SoWs), project estimates, and delivery plans.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Willingness to travel within India as required.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with OpenText solutions such as Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and Extended ECM (xECM).
Knowledge of SAP ABAP and SAP technical architecture.
Exposure to AI/ML, automation, and intelligent process optimization initiatives.
Experience building Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and solution accelerators.
Familiarity with enterprise content management and information management solutions.
