Job Description
Join us to Make an Impact
Innovation is in our DNA. We invented supercontinuum lasers and photonic crystal fibers and we constantly reimagine how our products can be used and improved. Our customers use our products in medical and life science research, quantum computing and space exploration.
We seek curious, creative and collaborative people to work in our cutting-edge company. Can you see yourself working in teams and providing solutions for innovators?
If you wish to apply, please contact us with your CV / Résumé. If you have a cover letter, please save this in one document with your CV / Résumé as you are only able to upload one document.

- Support the development, assembly, and test of custom laser systems and optical subsystems, working closely with senior engineering staff.
- Hands‑on experience with free‑space optical setups, including alignment and coupling to single‑mode and specialty optical fibers
- Design and execute experiments and feasibility studies to evaluate new laser and optical system concepts and architectures.
- Characterize and test laser systems and fiber‑optic assemblies to quantify performance and validate designs
- Support high‑power (kW-class) laser testing of optical assemblies and subsystems
- Contribute to the development of optical prescriptions and layouts using optical design tools (e.g., Zemax)
- Document experimental setups, test results, and assembly procedures to support product development and transfer
The Individual
- Background in optical engineering, physics, or a closely related discipline.
- Hands‑on experience with laser systems, ideally including ultrafast and/or high‑power CW laser sources.
- Understanding of optical modes in fibers and their impact on coupling and system performance.
- Hands‑on work with free‑space optics, including alignment and coupling light into optical fiber.
- Optical test and measurement capability, including laser and beam characterization.
