Senior AI Solutions Engineer

We seek a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to be the technical backbone of our AI Enablement team.

Are you an experienced engineer with deep knowledge of LLMs, data pipelines, and AI infrastructure? Do you enjoy architecting solutions that move quickly from POC to production? We need someone who can design, build, and scale AI solutions that optimize business processes across Init - from sales support tools to engineering project management enhancements.

You'll work closely with the AI Enablement Lead to turn business requirements into robust, production-ready solutions, while mentoring our AI Developer.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design and implement AI/LLM-based solutions for internal business optimization use cases.

·         Architect and maintain AI infrastructure, including integrations with Azure AI Foundry, open-source LLM orchestrators, and self-hosted LLM frontends.

·         Lead technical POC development and ensure smooth transitions to production.

·         Establish best practices for prompt engineering, model selection, and solution architecture.

·         Implement simple, pragmatic technical governance - data handling, security basics, and documentation.

·         Mentor and guide the AI Developer on technical implementation and best practices.

·         Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure solutions meet organizational standards.

·         Document architecture, processes, and technical decisions clearly.

·         Evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies for potential internal use.

Qualifications

·         5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or ML/AI engineering roles.

·         Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, including API integrations, prompt engineering, and RAG architecture.

·         Proficiency with Python and relevant AI/ML libraries and frameworks.

·         Experience with cloud AI platforms (Azure AI preferred) and on-premises deployments (containers).

·         Familiarity with open-source LLM orchestration tools and self-hosted LLM frontends.

·         Solid understanding of data pipelines and integration patterns.

·         Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD practices.

·         Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

·         Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

·         Good communication skills—you can explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.

Nice to Have

·         Experience with vector databases and embedding strategies.

·         Background in OT/IT, industrial automation, or consulting environments.

·         Familiarity with AI governance and responsible AI practices.

·         Experience working with distributed, international teams.
