What makes this role exciting
As an IT Corporate Engineer, you will provide prompt resolution of global technical support to our end user base at a rapidly growing rate of 1400+ employees and development of the Corporate IT estate of applications and hardware. This will involve contributing to the global business goals and maintaining one standard IT solution that is required to evolve the growing technology tools. As part of the role, it is a requirement to be self-sufficient, work effectively in a fast-paced environment for day-to-day support tickets, asset management, application subject matter expert and participation in small projects. You will become a regional support contact for a range of IT incidents and requests supporting a variety of technology throughout the CloudPay estate.
Main responsibilities
Provide 1st and 2nd line support to our global user base via remote tools and face to face.
Take ownership of the build process of our laptop configuration for your region
Manage any IT peripherals.
Participate with small project activities as directed by IT Management
Place IT security as the forefront of your mind with the least privileged approach.
Operate and maintain business as usual IT systems.
Act as the mentor for junior team members
Maintain the asset management system to ensure we have 100% accuracy.
Hybrid work arrangement with 3x/week RTO. Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 3PM to 12MN.
Experience needed for this role
Windows Operating Systems
Administration Office 365 Suite and admin tools including Active directory & Group Policy
Administration of business applications
Previous working knowledge of a Helpdesk/ Ticketing System
Good Appreciation of Cyber-Security including Two factor authentication (MFA
Laptop, Desktop and Printer Experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Telephone and face to face)
Ability to explain technical issues with end users is non-technical terms.
Knowledge of creating documentation
Knowledge of complex IT systems and applications
Experience in ITIL best practices.
The ability to learn quickly and is comfortable working alone or within a team.
