Job Description

Job Id:  517 # of Openings:  1
If you’re the kind of person who can fix just about anything and likes keeping a workplace running like a well‑oiled machine, we want you on our team.

We’re looking for a hard‑working, self‑motivated Facility Maintenance Technician who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and take on whatever the day throws at them. You’ll be the go‑to person for repairs, upkeep, and problem‑solving across multiple buildings — and you’ll interact with employees daily to keep our facilities safe, functional, and looking sharp.
Welding skills? Big plus. Electrical skills? Even better. A strong work ethic and pride in your craft? That’s what matters most.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Preventive Maintenance: Build and carry out maintenance schedules that keep equipment running and prevent breakdowns before they happen
  • General Repairs: Handle everyday fixes — carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, replacing bulbs, repairing fixtures, patching walls, and more
  • HVAC Support: Keep an eye on building climate systems, troubleshoot issues, and swap filters as needed
  • Emergency Response: Be the first call when something goes wrong — security issues, fire alarms, major maintenance problems
  • Vendor Coordination: When a job needs outside help, you’ll call in the pros and make sure the work gets done right and on time
  • Safety & Compliance: Perform regular safety checks and ensure all buildings meet federal, state, and local codes
What You Bring
  • A strong work ethic and the drive to get things done without being micromanaged
  • Experience with basic facility repairs — carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance
  • Welding skills (a big bonus)
  • Electrical knowledge (a plus)
  • Willingness to travel between multiple buildings throughout the day
  • Professional, friendly communication with employees while solving facility issues
  • Solid problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Safety-Sensitive Designation:
  • Jobs which involve one or more tasks or duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others are considered safety-sensitive. This position is safety-sensitive because, in addition to the essential functions, it also involves performing one or more of the following essential tasks or duties:
  • The handling, packaging, processing, storage, disposal or transport of hazardous material
  • The operation of a motor vehicle, other vehicle, equipment, machinery or power tools
  • Repairing, maintaining or monitoring the performance or operation of any equipment, machinery or manufacturing process, the malfunction or disruption of which could result in injury or property damage
  • The operation, maintenance or oversight of critical services and infrastructure including, but not limited to, electric, gas, and water utilities, power generation or distribution.
  • The extraction, compression, processing, manufacturing, handling, packaging, storage, disposal, treatment or transport of potentially volatile, flammable, combustible materials, elements, chemicals or any other highly regulated component.
