Qualifications you’ll bring:

  • Must possess, or obtain within 60 days from date of hire all required licensure and certification (New York and Vermont LAH)
  • Must obtain the MVP Medicare Certification Training within 60 days from date of hire, or prior to first sale, whichever comes first.
  • Adaptability to changing work priorities and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to translate features and benefits into customer focused solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Demonstrate sales and service skills.
  • Ability to always maintain ethical and professional behavior and appearance.
  • Computer skills including strong working knowledge of CRMs, and Microsoft Office application - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently with excellent organizational skills.
  • Must have a desire to offer focused solutions, resolve conflict and work collaboratively.
  • Personal drive to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ability to self-educate and support a desire to gain knowledge related to the healthcare industry.
  • Valid drivers’ license and access to vehicle.
  • Must be willing to do any required travel.
  • Account specific problem solving. Ensure the capture and appropriate storage of complete and accurate renewal account management records. Collect, analyze, and report on sales plan and account service process activity and results as scheduled and required. Other projects or duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent amount of education and related experience required.

Minimum Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in recent business to business sales or account management. Insurance setting preferred.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Have the ability to work independently on a daily basis and effectively manage time and work volume to ensure all deadlines, production and service standards are achieved.
  • Provide information regarding MVP small group and individual products.
  • Be part of a phone queue call center and will be required to answer incoming calls from our brokers, small groups and individuals.
  • Responsible for achieving assigned new business sales goals and renewal retention goals for the Small Business & Individual Service Unit across the MVP service area.
  • Complete all required pre-and-post sales activities timely and accurately.
  • Works collaboratively across the enterprise to achieve corporate and departmental goals to support service excellence and issue resolution.
  • Maintain PHI according to MVP’s privacy and security standards.
  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of MVP operations, contract benefits and enrollment requirements to ensure new sales opportunities and renewal changes are installed with minimal disruption to employer groups and members Performs other duties as assigned. 

Where you’ll be:

This role will be an onsite role with a requirement of 4 days per week in our Schenectady, NY office & 1 day remote.

MVP Health Care is committed to providing competitive employee compensation and benefits packages. The base pay range provided for this role reflects our good faith compensation estimate at the time of posting. MVP adheres to pay transparency nondiscrimination principles. Specific employment offers and associated compensation will be extended individually based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location; relevant experience, education, and training; and the nature of and demand for the role.

We do not request current or historical salary information from candidates. 

$51,395.00-$68,354.75
