Music Long-Term Substitute Teacher

North Allegheny School District seeks candidates to fill a Music Long-Term Substitute position at McKnight Elementary School, effective August 24, 2026 through June 1, 2027.  

The Music Teacher develops students' understanding, appreciation of the art of music, including listening to a wide range of musical genre, periods, and styles; identifies, promotes, and develops each student's talents in vocal and instrumental musical expression in a safe and supportive learning environment. The teacher will create and maintain good relationships with parents and other staff members.

Bachelor's Degree and Applicable Pennsylvania Teaching Certification are required. 
Current clearances are required and include:

• Child Abuse History Clearance
• PA Criminal Record Check
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance
• Mandated Reporter of Child Abuse Training
• Successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment Physical and TB Test.
