Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our expanding Sentara Neurology Specialists team in Hampton, Virginia.
This is an exciting new growth position created in response to increasing patient demand and the continued expansion of our neuroscience services. Fully integrated Epic EHR
Memory Clinic Development
Play an integral role in the growth and development of an interdisciplinary memory clinic
Partner directly with neurology and care navigators to provide comprehensive dementia and cognitive care
Presurgical Evaluations
Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS)
Epilepsy surgery evaluations and WADA assessments
Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS), Occipital Nerve Stimulation (ONS), and Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) evaluations
Research & Clinical Trials
Opportunities to serve as a Sub-Investigator on neuroscience clinical trials
Participate in advancing innovative treatments for cognitive and neurological disorders
Teaching & Mentorship
Opportunity to supervise doctoral students in clinical psychology
Contribute to the education and development of future neuropsychologists

Position Requirements
Completion of a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology preferred
Experience evaluating and treating patients with neurodegenerative disorders preferred
Board-certified or board-eligible in Clinical Neuropsychology preferred
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Submission of two professional work samples
