Your Role and Responsibilities


In this role, you'll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

  • Developing market intelligence and understanding of market trends in Singapore.

  • Developing the strategic plan on assigned market, defining growth areas and creating action plans to achieve sales objectives.

  • Focusing on front-end sales execution from end-to-end project pursuits.

  • Establishing new relationships and maintain current customer base conscientiously by understanding customer needs and promoting a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.

  • Preparing sales reporting and orders forecast reporting using Salesforce & other tools.

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to assess gaps and opportunities in business performance and current portfolio.

  • Identifying new business opportunities & project pipelines.

  • Developing demand creation strategies and be able to propose new product offerings to meet current market demands, closely working with consultants & EPCs on upstream prescription works.

  • Preparing technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements and coordinating closely with local sales unit and Global Sales Specialists

  • Ensuring technical and financial aspects of offers, including price and trading conditions, are appropriate

  • Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and managing resolution to specific customer problems

  • Providing information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and participating in the risk review assessment.


Qualifications for the Role

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical engineering.

  • Strong background in the Electrical industry and experience in Project Sales for (Medium Voltage Switchgears).

  • Previous experience in Engineering, Marketing & Sales.

  • Team player & being able to coordinate with the various sales teams.
