Pay Range: $27.39 - $33.55 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Specific Competencies:
- Performs MRI procedures as indicated in the procedure manual.
- Performs other related imaging procedures producing images for interpretation by a physician.
- Demonstrates knowledge and ability to assist with checking patient into the Radiology Department for testing.
- Maintains a safe environment.
- Correctly uses facility communication systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of the committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited radiography program
Experience:
- None required for staff position
Certification/License:
- AART certification in MR or OJT training to become registered with the ARRT
- Must become registered with the ARRT within 1 year of training start date
- Maintains credentials in good standing
- BLS required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology in order to perform MR testing
- Knowledge of imaging equipment
- Good verbal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to use computerized information systems
- Skill in establishing and maintaining good working relationships
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is normally performed in an interior/office or workshop environment. Routine office noise, exposure to chemicals, hazardous material/waste, blood and body fluids.
