THE TEAM
The mission of the Global Logistics team is to deliver Everyday Luxury through the global transportation of goods.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is growing and our Global Logistics team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for the end-to-end movement of goods across all channels, including inbound freight, surface logistics, and retail and eComm fulfillment. You will play a pivotal role in managing Aritzia’s global sea freight network, driving the efficient, reliable, and cost-effective movement of goods from origin to destination. THE ROLE
As the Senior Manager/Manager, Inbound, Global Logistics, you will:
Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience
Design an integrate logistics model that optimizes sea freight, shipping, and delivery
Execute best-in-class sea freight, shipping, and delivery set-up
Execute the best possible logistics experience for our customers
Mitigate risks and impacts associated with daily operations, minimizing potential disruption to the business
Manage departmental administration, ensuring the day-to-day business operates optimally
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Senior Manager/Manager, Inbound, Global Logistics, has:
Proven skills, certifications, education and/or experience, including:
Managing global ocean freight operations, including carrier management, capacity planning, and origin execution across key trade lanes
Deep understanding of international shipping markets, INCOTERMS, ocean contracts, and customs regulations
Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and global visibility platforms
Expertise in carrier negotiations, rate benchmarking, and service performance management within the sea freight industry
Microsoft Office, including Excel
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles
The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business
THE COMPENSATION
At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy.
The range for roles at this level is $100,000 - $300,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
