Location: USAG Bavaria
Primary Duty Locations: Garmisch and Hohenfels Training Area
Position Summary:
Provides administrative and program support for Catholic religious services at USAG Bavaria with primary focus on Garmisch and Hohenfels. This is a non-personal services contractor position supporting Catholic Masses, sacraments, and community programs in coordination with the Catholic Priest and Religious Support Office (RSO). This is not a U.S. Government employee position.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Catholic Masses, sacraments, religious education, and special events
Prepare and maintain sacramental records and AMS documentation
Develop weekly bulletin input and community announcements
Maintain Catholic community calendars and registration records
Attend required coordination and planning meetings
Assist with liturgical planning and religious supply documentation
Respond to community inquiries and submit required monthly reports and invoices
Qualifications:
Practicing Catholic in good standing
Minimum 2 years of Catholic parish or ministry administrative experience
Possess an AMS Catechist Certification or be able to obtain certification within the required timeframe.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
