Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the quality, process engineering, and production departments to support program launches and current production activities.
- Assist in the physical inspection, testing, labeling and packing of prototype parts.
- Assist in the physical inspection and testing of production parts.
- Assist in checking parts on stamping, weld and final check fixtures including preparing data obtained for reports.
- Assist on assembly lines as needed for both regular production and launch builds.
- Assist Quality Engineers in GM EPC & Ford FIREWALL (Early Production Containment).
- Assist Quality Engineers in customer concern sort and containment activities.
- Complete test data entry and charting as required.
- Work with Quality Engineers to create and update control plans for review and approval.
Basic Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in an engineering program.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
