Position Summary:
The Worker’s Compensation Administrator is WCS’s designated point of contact for all processes, forms and records pertaining to the workers' compensation program.
Responsibilities (the individual’s main responsibilities will be in supporting the NY based worker’s compensation OSHA):

Position Summary:
The Worker’s Compensation Administrator is WCS’s designated point of contact for all processes, forms and records pertaining to the workers' compensation program.
Responsibilities (the individual’s main responsibilities will be in supporting the NY based worker’s compensation OSHA):
- Completes, reviews, and maintains incident reports, or claims forms related to workplace injuries or workers' compensation claims.
- Collects information relating to the validity of the claim.
- Acts as a liaison between third party administrator, insurance companies and employer representatives. Communicate with insurance companies, third-party administrators (TPAs), legal counsel, and healthcare providers.
- Serves as the main contact for injured workers, guiding them through the process, explaining benefits, and coordinating medical appointments.
- Coordinate modified duty, ADA accommodation requests, fitness for duty evaluations (FCEs), and help get employees back to work safely and promptly.
- Assist in developing and implementing safety programs, analyzing injury trends, and training supervisors on prevention.
- Reviews outstanding medical bills to ensure that charges are accurate and has insurer initiate payment.
- Maintains OSHA reporting process: updating log data as needed and annual OSHA process reporting with insurer assistance.
- Responsible for timely completion of all required C Forms pertaining to all Workers' Compensation claims in NY.
- Participates in and contributes to safety committee meetings
- Acts in a backup capacity to support the HR Leaves team.
