Job Description

Now Hiring: An Automotive Product Information Specialist to serve as the internal go-to for verifying and preparing vehicle product information for retail education and training initiatives. In this role, you’ll translate technical features into clear consumer benefits, ensure accuracy across creative and training materials, and support multiple client teams. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders while staying current on automotive technology and industry trends.

Scope of Work

• Possess a strong working understanding and ability to educate internal teams on the technology, functionality and key consumer benefits offered by a vehicle
• Assess, understand and implement key engineering and client-based information resource documents
• Provide technical product information to internal automotive account teams, including feature functionality and consumer benefits
• Review and maintain the accuracy and usage of automotive product information content and vehicle images during the internal creative development process
• Proactively manage all aspects of validation process, including the assessment of feedback and resolution with appropriate stakeholders
• Manage product information consistency across multiple deliverables with staggered timing
• Research and maintain an understanding of the automotive industry and the trends
• Develop highly effective working relationships with key internal team members; i.e. account managers, copywriters, project managers and training managers
• Develop and maintain strong relationships within the client organization

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· 7+ years of related experience, including direct responsibility of technical information description, development and accuracy

· Supervisory experience is a plus

· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field

· Working knowledge and passion for automobiles with a sound mechanical knowledge desired

· Technical writing experience is beneficial

· Additional training/education preferred

Maximum Base Pay
