What You'll Be Doing
- Operate a variety of mobile equipment (loaders, haul trucks, skid steers) to support daily quarry operations
- Assist with material movement, stockpiling, and loading to meet production and customer demand
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Support plant operations including cleanup, housekeeping, and general utility tasks
- Follow all MSHA safety standards, site procedures, and environmental guidelines
What Are We Looking For
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate heavy equipment in a quarry or industrial setting
- Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and following established procedures
- Capability to perform physical work in outdoor and variable conditions
- Dependable attendance with flexibility to support production needs and schedules
- Effective communication skills and willingness to take direction and collaborate
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
