We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to support the analysis, migration, and maintenance of Federal grant information data into application environments. This position will be Full-Time and Hybrid, requiring 3 days on-site (Monday through Wednesday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) in Trenton, NJ, with 2 remote workdays (Thursday and Friday). Candidates must live within 1-hour from Trenton, NJ or be willing to relocate. This is a 12-month contract engagement. An onsite interview is required.
The Microsoft Power Platform Business Intelligence Analyst will examine the various spreadsheets and data records of Federal grant information and move the data into the application environment and ensure accuracy of completeness of all data prior to deployment to production. The incumbent will also be responsible for developing the instructions for ongoing system administration and end user processes for maintaining data integrity, as well as other functions supported by the system along with training materials for end users.

What You’ll Do
Analyzes data and processes to provide business intelligence information to management
Advises management on the content and interpretation of business data
Utilizes software to conduct analyses and manage data processes
Recommends alternative data or analysis solutions to management based on available data and business needs. Implements new data or analysis processes based on changing business or industry conditions
Examine spreadsheets and data records of Federal grant information and migrate data into the application environment
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data prior to deployment to production
Develop instructions for ongoing system administration and end-user processes to maintain data integrity
Create training materials for end users and ensure knowledge transfer
Understand and document the user’s view of applications and technology, putting procedures in logical sequence
Ensure consistency in messages and terminology across all written materials
Ensure knowledge transfer

What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Information Science, or a related field
Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI as a Data Administrator
Experience with external data integrations
Ability to work and align with developers
Understanding of Business Process Flows (BPFs) and ability to ensure alignment with system design
Preferred:
Experience integrating Microsoft Power BI with the Microsoft Power Platform (1+ Years)
Troubleshooting Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, integrations, and Dataverse performance-related issues (1+ Years)
Technical writing experience
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification through the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) is a plus
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person.
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
