Manager, Strategic Sourcing 📍 Gort, Co. Galway (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)🕒 Full-Time | Permanent🏢 Function: Operations | Strategic Sourcing   Overview We are seeking an experienced Manager, Strategic Sourcing to lead key sourcing categories and manage a high-performing team responsible for ensuring the reliable supply of materials and components for manufacturing. This role plays a critical part in aligning supplier capabilities with engineering, quality, and business needs. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Product Development, Supplier Engineering, QA, and Operations to drive performance, innovation, and operational excellence. You will own category strategy, supplier performance, cost optimisation, and risk management, while contributing to the continued development of sourcing processes, tools, and capabilities.   Key Responsibilities Own and execute category strategies aligned with business growth and cost objectives Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sourcing team Drive delivery against KPIs including cost, quality, service, risk, and innovation Strengthen sourcing processes, implement tools, and enhance governance frameworks Oversee supplier selection, qualification, audits, and performance management Ensure supplier compliance with GMP and quality standards Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks Partner cross-functionally to resolve supplier and operational challenges Support budgeting, planning, and long-term function development   About You 5–8 years’ experience in Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain, with leadership responsibility Proven experience owning and delivering category strategies with measurable impact Strong people leadership and performance management skills Demonstrated ability to align sourcing strategies with business goals and KPIs Experience driving process improvements, tools implementation, and capability building Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills Experience in regulated environments (e.g., medical device, pharma, or similar) is advantageous   Why Join Us?
