TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION, YOU MUST SUBMIT AN ENGLISH-VERSION RESUME Position: Civil Designer – (Bogotá, Colombia)Location: Bogotá, ColombiaEmployment Type: Full-Time – Onsite Job Description:At Pond, we are seeking a Civil Designer with experience in the execution and development of energy projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in earthworks and surface modeling using CAD tools, as well as in the design of natural gas distribution lines. This role will work closely with the Mechanical and Process Engineering teams, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and engineering best practices. To be successful in this position, the candidate must have strong knowledge of natural gas distribution projects and linear infrastructure, with a particular focus on works related to oil pipelines, gas pipelines, and multiproduct pipelines. Responsibilities: Design and produce 3D models and civil drawings in compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Develop plan and profile drawings for pipelines, KMZ files, existing utility locations, and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) under the guidance of a lead engineer. Prepare earthwork, access road, and drainage drawings. Adhere to company design and drafting standards to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables. Contribute to a collaborative work environment while meeting project deadlines and quality expectations. Education and Experience: Technical degree or equivalent education. More than 5 years of relevant experience in civil design within the energy sector. Proficiency with industry-standard design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Bluesky Skyline, or ArcMap/ArcGIS. Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required to collaborate with international teams and clients. Strong ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrating a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving approach. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a strong focus on delivering high-quality work in fast-paced environments.
