Description
At Clever Digital Marketing, we help large-scale home improvement companies grow through Paid Media, CRO, and performance strategy. We partner with 50+ brands across the US and Canada, focusing on scalable lead generation and measurable business growth.
We’re hiring a Senior Performance CRO Strategist to lead experimentation and landing page optimization across a portfolio of paid media clients.
This role is responsible for planning, launching, analyzing, and iterating A/B tests designed to improve conversion rates, lead quality, and overall funnel performance across Paid Social and Paid Search traffic.
Success in this role requires a strong understanding of paid acquisition funnels, traffic intent, message match, landing page psychology, and experimentation strategy. You’ll work closely with Paid Media, Creative, and Development teams to turn performance insights into structured testing roadmaps and measurable business impact.
This is a hands-on strategic role with strong growth potential as the CRO department continues to scale. Leverage AI tools and automation workflows to improve experimentation efficiency, insight generation, testing velocity, and CRO operations.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Own CRO strategy and experimentation roadmap across a portfolio of client accounts
- Identify conversion bottlenecks and optimization opportunities using quantitative and qualitative research
- Develop testing hypotheses informed by paid media performance, traffic intent, user behaviour, and funnel analysis
- Plan, launch, manage, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests across landing pages and funnels
- Collaborate with Paid Media teams to align landing page strategy with ad messaging, audience intent, and campaign goals
- Work closely with the Paid Media and Development teams to execute experiments efficiently and accurately
- Analyze test performance and translate findings into actionable recommendations and future testing opportunities
- Manage testing prioritization across accounts based on impact, opportunity size, and business goals
- Maintain organized experimentation documentation, reporting, and testing learnings
- Contribute to CRO processes, frameworks, and operational improvements as the department scales
- Identify opportunities to improve CRO workflows, experimentation processes, and operational efficiency through AI and automation
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, hypothesis generation, analysis, documentation, and experimentation workflows
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Requirements
- 4+ years of CRO or landing page optimization experience
- Agency experience preferred
- Strong experience building and managing A/B and multivariate testing programs
- Experience optimizing landing pages for Paid Social and Paid Search traffic
- Strong understanding of conversion psychology, user behaviour, and direct response marketing principles
- Experience with platforms such as Unbounce, VWO, Convert, GA4, Hotjar, or similar tools
- Comfortable working within no-code landing page builders and collaborating on technical implementations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into strategic action
- Experience using AI tools and automation workflows to improve experimentation, research, or operational efficiency
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and experimentation roadmaps simultaneously
- Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset
- Experience with HTML/CSS or technical troubleshooting
- Experience working closely with Paid Media teams
- Experience in web or product design, using tools like Figma or Sketch
- Experience with UX principles or heuristic evaluations
- Experience contributing to CRO frameworks, systems, or process development
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
