Job Description

The role of the Bell/Valet Attendant is to provide the utmost in guest service while ensuring that the guest’s arrival, welcoming, and hotel orientation is handled efficiently and professionally. The Bell/Valet Attendant is responsible for but not limited to adhering to and practicing the Chatham Bars Inn Service Standards that include Forbes, and AAA. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Greeting the guest upon arrival.

  • Smile and greet guests in a welcoming manner and use the guest’s name.

  • Assisting with their luggage and motor vehicle.

  • Escorting the guest to their room.

  • Provide room orientation in addition to hotel orientation via maps and directions.

  • Assisting with guest inquiries.

  • Communications with the Front Desk at all times.

  • Respond to and manage phone activity at the Bell station and company radios.

  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
