Electric Boat is preparing to execute a construction and test program for the COLUMBIA Class Integrated Power Systems (IPS) at the IPS Compatibility Test Facility (CTF) in Philadelphia, PA.  The IPS includes the propulsion plant (electric drive) and electrical power distribution system.  Electric Boat has been tasked with outfitting the space to integrate and test the lead ship motor module.  Following that program, the site will be used to test all subsequent COLUMBIA Class motor modules.  Outfitting of the motor modules will occur at the Electric Boat Quonset Point facility as well as possible focus factories in the future.  A pre-production integrated test program of...
