WF Network & Infrastructure Engineer

Functions:
• Maintain, monitor, and improve backend IT systems for wind farm deployment and updates.
• Automate system administration tasks to optimize performance, security, and uptime.
• Proactively mitigate security risks through threat monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and security patching.
• Monitor critical infrastructure components such as TLS certificates, storage capacity, and system availability.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
• Develop and implement concepts for infrastructure hardening, observability, and scalability.
• Provide lab support and ensure smooth operation of development and testing environments.

Qualification/Training:
• Strong Linux expertise (Debian, Ubuntu, Proxmox).
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (Ansible, Bash, Python).
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, LXD).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (tracing, metrics, logging).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (GitLab, GitHub).
• Cloud infrastructure experience (Azure Portal & DevOps).
• Proficiency in Cloud-Init and provisioning tools.
• Understanding of software architecture for system reliability.
• Familiarity with MinIO, Apache, Nginx, Ubuntu repositories, and Ansible Galaxies.
• Fluent English skills are required; German and Spanish language skills are a plus.
