Experienced Domestic Automotive Service Technician/Mechanic

The Experienced Domestic Service Technician is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of technicians in the efficient and effective repair and maintenance of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension systems
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Stay current on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
• Assign tasks to technicians based on skill level and experience
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and quality oversight to the technician team
• Train and develop technicians to grow their capabilities
• Communicate repair status clearly and professionally to customers
• Complete all required documentation including repair orders and work estimates
• Manage parts and supplies inventory
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
• Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. ASE or Audi technician certifications a strong plus.
• Experience: 2+ years of Domestic Technician experience
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive problems.
• Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
