We are looking for a Plant Manager to lead our Packaged Gases/PG production plant in Děčín, Czech Republic.
This role is responsible for managing plant operations, ensuring high performance in safety, quality, service, and cost efficiency. The successful candidate will lead a team of supervisors and operators, drive operational excellence, and ensure full compliance with company standards and local regulations.
As the PG Plant Manager, you will:
• Lead and develop a team of Shift Supervisors and Operators, setting goals and ensuring performance against KPIs
• Manage plant operations to ensure production targets, customer delivery, and service requirements are met
• Oversee financial performance, including budget management and cost optimisation
• Drive productivity improvements and implement operational excellence initiatives
• Ensure full compliance with safety standards and promote a strong safety culture aligned with the Zero Accident goal
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, including medical and food grade gas requirements
• Manage site resources, maintenance, and contingency planning to ensure operational continuity
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across operations, sales, EHS, supply chain, and quality functions
As the PG Plant Manager, you already are or have:
• Previous plant management or production leadership experience
• Strong people management experience, ideally managing supervisors and operational teams
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to compliance standards
• Analytical skills and experience working with operational data
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP systems
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Czech regulations and local environment is required for this role
