Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee and manage all poultry processing operations within the Pinnacle Plant while ensuring compliance with established safety, quality, yield, and production standards. This position is responsible for leading the production teams, driving operational efficiency, maintaining product quality, and accomplishing daily production goals in a fast-paced processing environment.

Supports Allen Harim’s Vision, Mission and Values
Oversee all the production departments of birds to meet established standards.
Ensures compliance with all food safety, USDA, OSHA, HACCP, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
Responsible for the safety and health of employees, which includes but is not limited to, safety and health awareness and training, accident prevention and incident investigations, and safe work practices.
Meets or exceeds established yield, productivity, efficiency, and labor goal requirements in all departments.
Responsible for safety and loss prevention and training of subordinates and new employees.
Maintains constant communications with the Production team, Shipping, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to ensure efficient production flow and minimize downtime.
Oversees department supervisors, and maintain proper staffing for department as authorized.
Calculates and distributes related processing reports to Managers and Supervisors.
Ensure product quality standards are consistently maintained throughout the debone process.
Recommends and administers disciplinary actions in accordance with the company policies while promoting positive employee relations and communication.
Oversee special projects and other activities assigned.
All other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

B.S. Degree in Poultry Science or related field, with a minimum of three years processing experience, or a minimum of five years experience as a processing supervisor.
Demonstrated ability to interact with managers, superintendents, supervisors, and support departments.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for Supervising plant employee and operations of all processing areas.
