Job Description
The Branch Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the branch while ensuring exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, project profitability, and regulatory compliance. This leadership role oversees project execution, staff management, scheduling, safety, inventory, and branch performance while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all daily branch operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Supervise the Administrative Assistant and Superintendent, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management.
Manage project execution, including profitability, ticket verification, quantity reviews, and overall project performance.
Monitor project progress, workforce productivity, and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Oversee the scheduling and dispatch of field crews to maximize operational efficiency.
Coordinate logistics for equipment, materials, and jobsite resources.
Manage sign shop operations and maintain accurate inventory control.
Ensure consistent implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures, particularly regarding human resources, safety, and quality control.
Assist with recruiting, hiring, employee development, performance counseling, disciplinary actions, and terminations as needed.
Take an active, hands-on role in construction management to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Provide leadership and oversight for branch personnel while supporting company-wide initiatives and operational improvements.
Identify opportunities to improve branch performance, increase profitability, and support business growth.
Perform other duties as assigned by company leadership.
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience managing operations, construction projects, or field service teams.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
Experience in traffic control, roadway construction, or heavy civil construction.
