  • Provide clear guidance on eligibility, timelines, documentation requirements, and status implications, based upon guidance from counsel.
  • Manage escalations and complex individual scenarios.
  • Develop clear communication templates, FAQs, and policy guidance materials.
  • Ensure consistent expectation-setting throughout the case lifecycle.

Internal Stakeholder Advisory

  • Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and business leaders to provide structured immigration guidance.
  • Take part in discussions regarding visa implications during hiring, internal transfers, promotions, compensation adjustments, and workforce planning.

  • Flag emerging regulatory or operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Policy, Process Design

  • Develop and maintain standardized immigration policies.
  • Build scalable SOPs for intake, approvals, vendor coordination, and escalations.
  • Define SLAs and KPIs for case management and vendor performance.
  • Maintain accurate case tracking and reporting to manage the process quality.

Vendor Oversight

  • Oversee external immigration counsels who provide immigration services for our US programs.
  • Monitor case quality, service levels, and compliance standards.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews and drive continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the U.S. immigration program management, which must include hands-on experience with relevant employment-based green card processes.
  • Strong, in depth knowledge of employment-based immigration processes and how the various processes may impact each other, including PERM, I-140 (EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3), I-485, H-1B, TN, E-3, B, L-1, and visa stamping.
  • Strong consultative communication skills with employees and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex immigration regulations into practical guidance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Risk-based decision-making mindset.
  • Operational rigor and process design capability.
  • Experience managing high-volume case environments and ensuring SLAs are met within that environment.
