About the role
The Recruiting Manager is responsible for leading and managing TeleMed2U’s talent acquisition function, ensuring the company attracts, hires, and retains high-quality talent to support organizational growth and strategic objectives. This role oversees full-cycle recruiting activity across clinical, operational, and corporate roles, with a focus on delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
The Recruiting Manager partners closely with Human Resources, department leaders, and executive leadership to understand workforce needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and ensure hiring practices are efficient, consistent, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations. This position is both strategic and hands-on, balancing day-to-day recruiting responsibilities with process improvement, employer branding, and metrics-driven decision making.
What you'll do
Talent Acquisition Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy aligned with TeleMed2U’s growth plans, workforce needs, and organizational values.
- Partner with HR and department leaders to understand current and future hiring needs, create workforce plans, and prioritize open roles.
- Identify effective sourcing channels and recruitment approaches for a variety of positions, including clinical, operational, and leadership roles.
Full-Cycle Recruiting & Candidate Management
- Oversee and participate in full-cycle recruiting, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer management.
- Ensure timely and high-quality communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing a professional and positive candidate experience.
- Guide and support hiring managers on interviewing best practices, selection criteria, and decision-making to ensure fair and consistent hiring decisions.
- Coordinate and refine interview processes, including panel interviews, assessments, and hiring events as applicable.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and manage Recruiting and Talent Acquisition staff, providing coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Set clear goals and expectations for the recruiting team, aligned with time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and candidate experience metrics.
- Foster a collaborative, service-oriented, and results-driven culture within the recruiting team.
- Identify training and development needs for recruiting staff and support ongoing skill development.
Sourcing, Employer Branding & Diversity Recruitment
- Develop and maintain proactive pipelines of qualified candidates through sourcing, networking, social media, job boards, professional associations, and employee referrals.
- Partner with Marketing/HR to strengthen TeleMed2U’s employer brand, ensuring job postings, career pages, and outreach materials reflect the company’s culture and values.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) objectives by ensuring outreach strategies and hiring practices attract diverse talent pools and minimize bias in the hiring process.
Process, Technology & Compliance
- Manage and optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS) and related recruiting tools to ensure accurate data, efficient workflows, and strong reporting capabilities.
- Develop and maintain standardized recruiting processes, templates, and tools to ensure consistency and scalability across the organization.
- Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO and fair hiring standards.
- Partner with HR to support background checks, employment verifications, and pre-employment requirements in alignment with company policy.
Metrics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Establish, track, and report on key recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, candidate satisfaction, quality-of-hire).
- Use data and feedback from candidates and hiring managers to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve recruiting processes.
- Recommend and implement process improvements, technology enhancements, and best practices to enhance efficiency, candidate quality, and overall recruiting effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Onboarding Support
- Collaborate with HR, Hiring Managers, and Operations to ensure smooth transitions from hiring to onboarding.
- Provide input on workforce planning, job design, and organizational structure as it relates to recruitment.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives that impact talent acquisition and workforce development.

Qualifications
Required
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, including full-cycle recruiting in a corporate or agency setting.
- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within recruiting or talent acquisition.
- Experience recruiting for a mix of roles (e.g., clinical, technical, operational, and/or leadership positions), preferably within healthcare or telehealth.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, and selection best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate recruiting teams in a remote or distributed environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and leadership.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and standard office productivity tools.
- Understanding of applicable employment laws and regulations related to recruiting, selection, and hiring.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret metrics and use insights to drive continuous improvement.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and sound judgment, especially when handling confidential information.
Preferred
- Experience recruiting in a healthcare, telemedicine, or digital health environment.
- Experience with employer branding, social recruiting, or campus/early-career recruiting initiatives.
