The Junior Technician will be responsible for the proper installation of Geolog’s mobile laboratory on oil rigs onshore and offshore and for the maintenance of equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but not limited, to:

Mobile Laboratory installation and equipment maintenance: To install, test, maintain, repair damaged equipment, to refurbish and control equipment returning to the base from the field
Field support: To regularly contact field operations for support and assistance, to train crew members on equipment maintenance, to give field equipment support and to perform equipment installation on oil rigs when required.
Store: inventory and warehouse organization, monitoring the level of spares and consumables
Technical Documentation: to ensure the technical and Health & Safety documentation is complete and updated in the mobile laboratories in the field

REQUIREMENTS:

Electronics and/or IT specialization
Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical role
Driving License
Fluent in English.
Highly organized with ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work alone on projects as well as within a group / team
