The Role

A professional office housekeeper with high integrity and attention to detail, to ensure all office areas are kept to a high standard, clean, organized, with a sanitary office environment by performing daily cleaning tasks, maintaining common areas, and managing supplies. Key responsibilities include vacuuming, emptying waste bins, cleaning kitchenettes, and monitoring cleaning and kitchen supplies to maintain high service and cleaning standards.

Key Responsibilities

General Cleaning: Dust, polish, vacuum, and mop office floors, kitchens, desks, meeting rooms, and walkways.

Kitchenette/Breakroom Care: Clean and sanitize counters, sinks. Clean coffee machines and ensure fridges are tidy and free of expired food.

Waste Management: Empty all trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal and recycling compliance.

Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, snack drawer, coffee, tea, and advise what needs to be ordered.

Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report maintenance issues, such as broken light fixtures, damaged furniture, or safety hazards.

Requirements and Skills

Experience: Previous experience as a commercial cleaner or housekeeper is preferred.

Attention to Detail: Strong ability to notice areas requiring cleaning and maintain high office standards.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work on feet for long periods.

Professionalism: Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently or with little supervision.

Organisation: Strong time management skills to complete tasks within working hours.

Work Environment

Working hours 1pm – 9pm onsite

Requires compliance with safety regulations regarding the use of chemical cleaners.
