Costaterra is a private members only residential community in Comporta – Portugal. It combines luxury living with top-tier hospitality, offering incredible dining, a world-class golf course, spa services, outdoor pursuits, and immersive local experiences.
We are looking for a talented Hairdresser to join our team! In this role, you’ll help create a smooth, welcoming experience for every guest by coordinating daily salon activities, managing appointments, and supporting our reception and changing areas. We’re looking for someone passionate about great service and eager to contribute to a positive, successful salon environment.
What you will do?
- Deliver high‑quality beauty and hair services that exceed guest expectations.
- Prepare and maintain salon and treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and full stock of supplies.
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to members and guests, offering assistance and amenities throughout their visit.
- Maintain equipment safely and monitor product usage.
- Support daily salon operations, ensuring smooth coordination between therapists, beauticians, and hosts.
- Stay updated on beauty, hair, and wellness techniques and participate in required trainings.
- Upsell spa, fitness, and wellness services and accurately record recommendations.
- Assist with reservations, guest inquiries, and service recovery when required.
- Uphold company standards, policies, and service guidelines in all interactions.
What are we looking for?
- A skilled Hairdresser with at least 3 years of experience in luxury spas, salons, or health clubs.
- Strong qualifications in hair care, beauty therapy, and preferably knowledge of trichology.
- Excellent guest service skills, with a warm, professional, and welcoming approach.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to support smooth daily operations.
- Good command of English and the local language.
- Confidence working with MS Office and familiar with wellness or hospitality systems.
- High standards of personal grooming, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
- Flexibility to work according to business needs, including standing or walking for extended periods.
