Job Description
- Define and implement long-term strategic sourcing plans for specific products and commodities, encompassing market analysis, risk assessment, supplier identification and qualification, and technology roadmapping to ensure a resilient and cost-effective supply base that meets Google's evolving needs.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with key suppliers, developing and managing complex contractual agreements (including pricing, capacity, quality, and service level agreements) to optimize value, mitigate risk, and ensure favorable commercial terms that align with Google's business objectives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators for strategic suppliers, proactively managing supplier performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering strong, collaborative relationships to ensure consistent quality, on-time delivery, and proactive problem resolution.
