- Research, analyze, and identify appropriate colors, materials, and finishes in line with product strategy and design concepts, market trends, and insights provided by the design team
- Based upon research on trending lifestyles, new materials, markets, and technologies, establish CMF stories required for product design, and deliver emotional values in new perspectives to consumers
- Implement CMF concepts with tangible material samples, build contact with local & global manufacturing networking, prototyping is carried out to enable actual development
- Participate in the process from product conception to production
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Industrial Design, Research and Strategy, to translate design concepts into executable CMF specifications

Your profile
- Substantial work-experience in a design- and innovation environment, ideally already as a CMF specialist
- Knowledge in material trends and forecast innovative material used in a variety of Hard and Soft Goods applications across multiple industries including interior design, home decor, and consumer electronics.
- Knowledge in materials and manufacturing processes
- Work with material vendors to develop both advanced material samples and standards for production
- Work alongside with engineers, suppliers and manufacturers to develop concepts and prototypes into material technologies suitable for mass manufacturing
- Highly independent and self-motivated, strong work-ethic and high reliability in remote/on-site team settings
