Job Description
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting career opportunity for a (Senior) Associate in the Banking & Finance at our Warsaw office.
Job Requirements:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating finance documents (including documents relating to real estate finance).
- Participating in the preparation of financing structures for transactions (including real estate finance transactions).
- Participating in due diligence reviews with respect to finance and security documents.
- Preparing transaction closing documentation and coordinating post-closing formalities.
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team.
We expect:
- A master’s degree in Polish law.
- Polish-qualified Advocate or Attorney-at-Law.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in the banking & finance transactional sector (including real estate finance sector).
- Very good command of spoken and written Polish and English.
- Taking on responsibility and ownership for projects.
- Excellent writing and analytical skills.
- Very good organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and a “can-do” attitude.
- A proactive, supportive and team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Interest in business development and a willingness to get involved will be a plus.

Our attorneys advise lenders (e.g., Polish and foreign banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions), corporate borrowers (e.g., largest Polish and international corporations), and private equity sponsors. Our attorneys have participated in some of the largest and most complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions in Poland to date.
Within the banking and finance area the team led by Andrzej Wysokiński advise on: complex financings, including syndicated, leveraged, acquisition, and LOC facilities, real estate financing, financial restructuring and bankruptcy, debt capital market transactions (including high yield) and securitizations, bank mergers & acquisitions and restructuring, including related regulatory matters, other financial regulatory matters.
