You will be part of HPB’s Physical Activity Department, within the Physical Activity and Healthy Ageing Division, dedicated to making active living a cornerstone of daily life. The department empowers residents to stay active by providing the knowledge, opportunities, and support needed to build sustainable habits. The department designs and delivers impactful programmes, from physical activity initiatives to literacy and community-driven efforts, ensuring residents have the knowledge and opportunities to stay active. By partnering with government agencies, industry leaders, and key stakeholders, it expands access to inclusive, high-quality physical activity options across daily routines and leisure time. Grounded in evidence informed, data-driven insights and capability development, the department evolves its strategies and work to drive participation, enhance well-being, and embed active living as a way of life.
[What you will be working on]
As a key member of Physical Activity Division, you will play an integral role in the planning and execution of nationwide physical activity strategies and programmes. Collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders, including HPB’s appointed contractors, you will ensure efficient and effective delivery of the programmes.
Your responsibilities will include review of operational processes and managing key aspects of contract and contractors’ management. You will ensure that contractors are delivering services in alignment with HPB’s objectives while adhering to contractual and compliance requirements. Additionally, you will also coordinate the audit process and work closely with internal stakeholders to manage risks and optimise resources.

Ability to communicate effectively with verbal, written and presentation skills to present ideas and concepts.
Track record in managing and implementing community-based programmes
Experience in the monitoring and compliance of contracts, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions while managing risks and performance.
Relevant working experience in developing and implementing initiatives for the general population, as well as qualifications in sport and exercise, health-related sciences, or business management will be advantageous.
Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract.
