Position Overview
- Teach engaging and comprehensive courses in Economics, Finance, Accounting, and Business Management that align with both AP and university-level standards.
- Mentor and prepare students for high-profile competitions, including FBLA, Wharton Global High School Investment Competition, and similar national or international contests.
- Collaborate with the academic team to design interdisciplinary courses integrating theory with real-world business applications.
- Incorporate case studies, market simulations, and project-based learning to develop students’ financial literacy and analytical skills.
- Guide students in research, portfolio management, and entrepreneurship projects, helping them build leadership, teamwork, and strategic thinking skills.
- Evaluate student performance using a range of formative and summative assessments, and provide constructive, timely feedback to support academic growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master’s or higher degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the high school or college level.
- Proven record of mentoring students in business or economics competitions (FBLA, Wharton Global HS Investment, DECA, etc.), with documented student achievements or awards.
- Ability to teach across multiple disciplines, including Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Business Strategy.
- Strong command of educational technologies and data-driven instructional practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with a passion for inspiring students to explore business and economic systems in depth.
