This is a secondment/contract, ending on November 11, 2027.
The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.

How You’ll Make an Impact
The Product Solutions Analyst is responsible for supporting and enhancing Fidelity Canada’s retail lineup of mutual funds and solutions. Reporting to the Director, Product Solutions & Sustainability, the Analyst provides critical support for Fidelity Canada’s new product development initiatives, delivers strategic, competitor and industry analysis to inform product strategy, and is responsible for championing a segment of Fidelity’s retail products, solutions, and tools to drive the firm’s marketing and sales efforts.
Product Development
Identify compelling product ideas that meet the standards of Fidelity and meet the needs of our customers.
Develop product positioning, competitive benchmarking/analysis and identify key factors that will influence sales success to build a successful business case for new products and solutions.
Collaborate with external resources and internal partners throughout Fidelity to bring new products and solutions to market.
Own product development projects from idea to delivery.
Product Management
Ensure that assigned products and solutions are optimally positioned for success.
Demonstrate a high level of product, market, and competitive investment category expertise.
Develop a deep understanding of the drivers of success within assigned product segment and articulate these effectively to management.
Develop and be able to articulate a well-supported view of the future of the category or asset class.
Marketing & Sales Support
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and other internal partners in the development of all promotional materials (e.g. marketing collateral, digital, advertising, etc.) for new and existing products and solutions.
Ensure that assigned products and solutions are supported with strong baseline collateral that clearly and accurately reflects the investment merits of each offering.
Develop and deliver proactive investment marketing and asset retention ideas to support the firm’s sales efforts.
Anticipate Marketing and Sales team needs and deliver proactive solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years of mutual fund/investment industry experience with prior experience in investment analysis/modelling.
Completion of University degree, or equivalent work experience.
Successful completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is required.
Prior experience in sales and/or marketing in financial services is an asset.
Designations such as an MBA/CFA are an asset.

Excellent presentation skills.
Proven experience performing complex data analysis (i.e. sales, performance analysis, etc.)
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

This contract role offers a flexible, hourly compensation model that reflects your expertise and the value you bring.
The hourly rate ranges from $38.00 to $62.00, based on experience and qualifications.
