As a Non‑Licensed Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of a collaborative team that supports the day‑to‑day operations of our distribution center. You’ll help maintain equipment and facility systems while ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Your work will directly support operations by keeping equipment running and assisting the Maintenance team in delivering amazing tech to our customers.
Availability Requirements
Sunday – Thursday
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Shift schedules may vary based on business needs
What you’ll do as a Licensed Maintenance Mechanic
- Maintain and support equipment, including forklift batteries, ensuring they are inspected, charged, and replaced as needed.
- Conduct inspections and report issues related to compactors, conveyors, racking, docks, doors, lighting, and other facility equipment.
- Provide support to Licensed Maintenance Mechanics with repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Assist with general facility upkeep including cleaning, moving materials, painting, loading bales, and supporting special projects.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance area free of debris.
- Complete all documentation accurately and on time and enter data into systems as required.
- Support productivity targets while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Identify safety or security risks and take appropriate corrective action.
What we’re looking for
- High school diploma (Grade 12 or equivalent).
- Experience in maintenance of distribution center and/or equipment is an asset.
- Experience with MHE and conveyor systems is considered an asset.
- Experience in using powered and non-powered hand tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical material handling tasks.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet on scissors & boom lifts (training provided).
- Must be able to drive various types of Forklifts (training provided)
- Basic computer skills required, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), are an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with good troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Base pay range
Hourly pay rate: $19.80 - $20.54This job is eligible for a company performance bonus in addition to the compensation range above.
