Summer Session Teacher (ESL)

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Monday � Wednesday 8:30 � 12:30 from July 6 � July 29, 2026

PRIMARY FUNCTION: To help adult students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, responsible citizens. 

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach adult students enrolled in the Summer School Program in content areas of ESL

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

• As set by the State certification requirements for the teaching areas ESL (088),
• At least three (3) years of teaching experience. 

• Prior experiences working in an environment with adult learners. 

   

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
