Our consultants partner with C‑level executives to define long‑term business and technology strategies, build compelling business cases, and develop clear roadmaps for measurable impact. Internally, VE leads cross‑functional teams on Infor’s most strategic opportunities, enabling value‑based selling and thought leadership across the organization.
To strengthen the team in the Central Region, we’re looking for a motivated and curious Value Engineering Analyst, someone who enjoys digging into data, understanding how businesses work, and translating insights into clear stories and recommendations.
As an Value Engineering Analyst, you will support the local Value Engineering team by providing structured research, analysis, and insights for major strategic accounts. This role is an excellent entry point into a consulting‑style career, offering exposure to executive‑level customer conversations, strategic sales cycles, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Over time, you will gradually take on more responsibility, building your consulting skillset and actively contributing to customer engagements and business development initiatives.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
- Supporting Value Engineering activities for named strategic customer and prospect accounts
- Conducting structured research on customers, including: Business strategy and priorities, organizational structure and key stakeholders, industry context, investors/ownership, and financial performance indicators).
- Analyzing and mapping customer challenges to Infor’s industry‑specific CloudSuite solutions.
- Supporting value discovery, prioritization, and insight generation in collaboration with the Value Engineering Center of Excellence.
- Preparing high‑quality analytical deliverables, presentations, and summaries to support customer engagements.
- Participating in selected on‑site and remote customer engagements alongside senior Value Engineering consultants.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Commercial Information Technology, Business or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Alternatively: a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or Engineering combined with an MBA.
- Basic knowledge of IT project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Basic understanding of cloud architectures and ERP system concepts.
- Basic understanding of business process analysis and management methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, REFA).
- Strong analytical mindset with an interest in working with data, numbers, and structured research.
- Very good PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Business‑fluent English and German.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10%-50%, depending on project needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Natural curiosity and a strong desire to continuously learn and develop.
- Genuine interest in understanding how businesses work, including operational and financial KPIs.
- A consulting mindset; initial exposure to management or strategy consulting is a plus (but not required).
- Ability to think in a structured yet creative way and approach problems "out of the box".
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence to grow into customer‑facing situations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in an international, cross‑functional team environment.
