Job Summary The Driver is responsible for safe transport of persons and goods using authorized ramp and road vehicles
Your activities Driver Job Functions include but are not limited to: Operate all motorized equipment’s and vehicles according to Company Policies and Procedures in conjunction with Training With the use of authorized Ramp passenger vehicles, transfer employees, items, documents to and from the Cargo Facility Building and Airport North Terminal Building for the purpose of flight clearance functions, transport for training and other job related functions as required
With the use of company issued vehicles, pick up, drop off, transfer employees, Company officials, documents, packages, etc to and from any of our business offices as required
Operate vehicles within the lawful speed limits of both the public roadways and the Airport tarmac/ramp
Ensure vehicles are only operated when authorized to do so
Properly and effectively secure of vehicles and equipment in your possession. i.e. ensure they are locked and not susceptible to theft, towing, etc
Operate vehicles safely so as to prevent unnecessary vehicular accidents on both public roadways and the Airport tarmac/ramp
Ensure vehicles’ interior are clean once in your possession
All vehicles issued to you must be received clean and returned clean
Ensure any and all vehicular accidents, major or minor, are reported to the dispatch agent
This includes dents, scrapes, broken fixtures, scratches and cracks to both interior and exterior fixture and body of vehicle
Ensure any and all dysfunctions are reported to the dispatch agent
This includes seatbelts, horn, steering wheel, lights, etc
Follow and comply with Standard Operating Procedures Ramp – 035: Coach /Bus Driving Your profile CXC O’Level Passes including Math and English Valid Driver’s License – Class 6 Willingness to work in inclement weather Flexible to work on various shifts (days, evening, nights, weekends, and holidays) Ability to read, write and understand and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, policies, procedures and manuals
