Sustainability Associate Manager is responsible for ensuring that CSR communication products are closely aligned to the Prudential Corporation Asia (“PCA”) Prudence Foundation strategy, as well as closely supporting PVA business goals. All CSR communication products, activities, initiatives and partnerships must demonstrate Prudential’s commitment as a model corporate citizen whose operating principles go beyond short-term profit-taking.Job Purpose
Sustainability Associate Manager is responsible for driving and embedding sustainability across PVA through strategic projects, ethics awareness initiatives, and robust governance practices. The role ensures that sustainability principles and ethical standards are consistently integrated into business activities, supporting long-term value creation, trust, and corporate reputation
Job Responsibilities
Ethics Awareness & Cultures
- Manage ethics related engagements and awareness programs in PVA, through design, implementation, and maintenance including but not limited to managing and delivering ethics related communication materials for PVA (inclusive of Staffs, Agents, Contingent Workers etc. as necessary);
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, compliance officers, and other professionals, to promote a culture of ethics; support and strengthen internal networks & communities to cascade ethics messages and encourage employee participation in sustainability and ethics initiatives.
- Monitor effectiveness of awareness programmes and continuously enhance engagement approaches.
Sustainability Integration
- Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability-related projects and initiatives aligned with Group and PVA priorities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability considerations into business planning, operations, and community engagement programmes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance sustainability impact through innovative solutions and partnerships.
- Track project performance, outcomes, and impact, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and continuous improvement.
- Support CSR projects and other strategic initiatives to ensure scalability and long-term sustainability outcomes.
Governance and Reporting
- Coordinate and deliver Sustainability reporting (internal and external), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with corporate disclosures.
- Deliver other Corporate Affairs reports as per requirements.
- Facilitate governance-related projects where relevant, ensuring proper documentation, tracking of actions, and adherence to governance standards.
Job Accountability
- Develop and maintain an effective sustainability foundation across PVA
- Ensure timeliness and quality of key activities deliverables in accordance with Corporate Affairs & Sustainability plan and other requests from the line manager and the key stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- University degree in relevant field of study
- Marketing & Communication degree preferable/ certification or equivalent for Staff matters/ Distribution discipline related scope
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Sustainability/Ethics/Compliance/Governance
- Insurance industry experience is a plus.
Knowledge and skill:
- Advanced English skills
