CNC Lathe Operator

Milacron is looking for a CNC Lathe Operator to join our team in Mt. Orab, Ohio. The CNC Lathe operator will work as part of the direct manufacturing shop floor team.  In this position, the CNC Lathe operator will use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery safely and accurately in a manufacturing environment.  This highly skilled professional will work with great concentration and precision while complying with all safety guidelines.  The CNC lathe operator will be able to start and power down the machine, make size adjustments, and understand the measuring instrument while maintaining a good part. This position is also responsible for changing and teaching tools (O.D., I.D., drills and cutoffs), change overs, and loading programs while meeting production requirements. This position requires the operation of machinery in a temperature controlled manufacturing environment. This position requires the ability to read instructions and follow these instructions with precision to produce outputs.  Work You'll do: Follow work instructions and safely operate machinery and controls Perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers Use measuring instruments (including micrometers) to ensure precision Change and set tools, drills, and inserts as needed Load, edit, and monitor programs to maintain proper operation Inspect parts and ensure conformance to quality standards Maintain production output and track quantities and time Perform basic equipment maintenance and submit repair requests as needed Identify and report defects, malfunctions, or production issues Stop production if quality standards are not met Properly label and track all processed products Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment Be available for required work schedules, including weekends/holidays Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma; Higher degree from a technical school preferred Experience as a CNC lathe operator Ability to read blueprints, drawings etc. Ability to follow all safety guidelines Must support mission and purpose of the company and be committed to professional and personal growth #LI-JM1 #LI-ONSITE
