Job Description:
- Oversee the post trade processing for securities, fixed income products, listed and OTC derivatives, and other structured products across local and overseas markets, including daily reconciliation of trades and positions.
- Resolve discrepancies and issues related to trade settlements and position management in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with traders, counterparties, and brokers to ensure timely and accurate trade execution and confirmation.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements related to derivatives operations.
- Support risk management initiatives by identifying and mitigating operational risks and implementing best practices.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to derivatives trading and operations.
- Generate and review reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities as required.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in derivatives operations.
- Ongoing maintenance of the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Work with IT and other departments to implement system enhancements and automation solutions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding derivatives operations.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or inquiries promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of settlement experience in securities brokerage industry or banking
- Hands on experience in CCASS, Clearstream and Euroclear
- Knowledge of securities, fixed Incomes Listed and OTC derivatives and Structure Products settlement
- Perform other ad-hoc projects and assignments as required
- Proficiency with MS Suite, specifically Excel.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
