For this position, the expected compensation range is between $115,000 to $125,000+ including salary and annual incentive plan. This range reflects our commitment to providing competitive compensation that aligns with industry standards and your qualifications.
Job Description:
Major Job Functions
Lead, demonstrate and champion a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring all safety standards, policies, procedures and compliance requirements are communicated, implemented and followed
Responsible for day-to-day leadership of staff, including recruitment, orientation, coaching, mentoring, employee engagement, performance feedback, and supporting growth and development opportunities
Spend the majority of time in the field with technicians to ensure the agreed upon scope of work is accurately followed, determine proper tooling and parts, resolve technical issues promptly, and ensure daily time and service reports are completed
Manage, assign and allocate technicians to jobs and conduct pre, mid and post job reviews
Education and Experience
Minimum 4+ years of experience working with Caterpillar equipment and engines
Proven leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to lead, coach and supervise employees in a field environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey job scope, direction and expectations to front line teams
Well developed decision making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address technical and operational challenges effectively
Strong business acumen and understanding of operational priorities
Solid knowledge of the Caterpillar product line, systems and supported processes, including warranty and product health structure
Experience working within established processes, including collective agreements, performance management and disciplinary practices
Proficiency with applicable systems and tools, including SIS, SIMSi, SIMS, DSN and DPSS
Understanding of the principles of high-performance leadership and employee development
