Job Description:
Under limited supervision, a Program Accuracy Specialist is responsible for conducting full quality assurance reviews of case management activities; coordinating with management and staff to develop and implement various strategies and initiatives to achieve the highest possible accuracy rate; performing related work as assigned.

As the DHHS Program Evaluation Program Accuracy Specialist, you will:
- Review Economic Assistance program cases for the entirety of a program’s eligibility period and provide feedback and corrections to the field.
- Provide information to field staff when an error is determined.
- Collaborate with Economic Assistance policy and provide guidance to the field.
Hire Rate: $22.617 per hour – Non-Exempt
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Dress Attire: Business Casual
Location: Statewide depending on space availability
Driving: Occasional travel required
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Two years’ experience in a health and/or human services field or public service organization with responsibility for determining eligibility, assessing public assistance needs, or case management using program rules and regulations OR 24 semester hours of post high school education in behavioral sciences, social sciences, public/business administration, adult education or closely related field and experience in eligibility determination or assessing needs for public assistance and/or social services programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Economic Assistance Social Services Worker OR at least 2 years of experience as an Economic Assistance Social Services Lead or Supervisor OR at least 3 years of combined experience as a Social Services Worker, Lead, or Supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of Economic Assistance program policies and eligibility requirements, including Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Assistance to the Aged, Blind, or Disabled (AABD), Social Services for the Aged and Disabled (SSAD), Aid to Dependent Children (ADC), Childcare (CC), Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) and Emergency Assistance (EA).
- Experience in eligibility determination, case management, quality control, or program integrity.
- Ability to accurately review and analyze complex cases and apply policy consistently.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience identifying error trends and documenting findings clearly and objectively.
- Proficiency with eligibility systems, data tracking tools, and federal/state reporting requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
Other: Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of: Federal and State program regulations, laws, and case processing; quality assurance and monitoring tools and methods; case management practices including assessment, analyzing critical information, plan development and implementation, adult training theories, principles and practices; statistical data and collection methods.
Skill in: Teaching others; monitoring and assessing work performance of others.
Ability to: Learn and apply agency policies and procedures; interpret, explain, and apply State and Federal laws and regulations; conduct data analysis, quality assurance reviews, and identify trends; communicate with others to receive and relay information; analyze situations and develop an appropriate course of action; effectively interrelate with a wide variety of individuals; formulate conclusions; coach others; develop, implement and present training programs; conduct root cause analysis and recommend appropriate actions.
