
Manager Finance Reporting & Accounting KSA
Job Description
YOUR MISSION
The Manager Finance Reporting & Accounting KSA plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, supporting business decisions, and maintaining compliance with Saudi regulations.
This role is responsible for managing accounting operations, leading month-end closing activities, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations (VAT, Zakat, and Corporate Tax) in KSA.
The role will be based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, and GL
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of invoices and journal entries
- Prepare and post month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, leases, provisions, etc.)
- Maintain prepaid and accrual schedules
- Handle employee-related accounting (payroll entries, expense reimbursements)
- Manage expense claims in line with company policies
- Prepare debit notes for intercompany and supplier settlements
- Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support purchase order processes and financial controls
- Assist in OPEX tracking, analysis, and cost control
- Support internal and external audits
- Act as backup for Finance Manager when required
Month-End Closing & Reporting
- Lead and ensure timely completion of month-end closing activities
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Perform detailed GL and balance sheet reconciliations
- Conduct variance analysis vs. budget and prior periods
- Support management reporting (MIS) and business insights
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and PUMA Group accounting policies
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet reporting deadlines
Taxation & Compliance (KSA Focus)
- Ensure full compliance with ZATCA regulations
- Manage VAT accounting, reconciliation, and filing
- Support Zakat and Corporate Tax computations and submissions
- Ensure compliance with e-invoicing (FATOORA) requirements
- Maintain proper documentation for tax audits and inspections
- Stay updated on Saudi tax laws and ensure timely implementation
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure adherence to PUMA internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Maintain accurate, complete, and auditable financial records
- Strengthen internal controls in line with corporate and local requirements
- Ensure compliance with Saudi regulatory and statutory requirements
YOUR TALENT
Education
- Professional qualification (CA / ACCA / CPA / MBA in Finance)
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in Finance / Accounting
- Experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC retail/FMCG environment preferred
- Strong exposure to VAT, Zakat, and tax compliance in KSA
Capabilities
- Strong knowledge of SAP / ERP systems and MS Office
- Good command of the English language; Arabic language proficiency is a plus
- Good understanding of IFRS and the Saudi tax framework
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
