About the Role:

We’re looking for a Diagnosis Respiratory Strategy Lead reporting directly to the Global VP of Diagnosis to build a team and world class capability within Insmed to ensure we expand what’s possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to a Global VP you’ll be accountable for defining and driving market expansion strategies across the Respiratory portfolio. In addition to co-owning the strategy with the Global VP, this role is a leadesrhsip role, accountable leading the overall diagnosis plan for our inline brands and contributing to building a market development organization over time.


This role plays a critical leadership position in advancing Insmed’s enterprise growth strategy, identifying and activating high-impact opportunities that expand the diagnosed and treated patient populations to strengthen the long-term value of the portfolio.

What You'll Do:

In this role, the Diagnosis strategy lead will set the strategic vision, define where Insmed should invest to unlock sustainable growth through accelerated diagnosis, and mobilize cross-functional teams to deliver impact over both the near and long term. 

 

You’ll also: 

  • Shape the global strategy and own the US tactical execution for accelerating diagnosis of respiratory conditions (including bronchiectasis and MAC lung disease)  

  • Lead identification, sizing, and prioritization of market development opportunities.  

  • Architect and execute multi-stakeholder strategies to accelerate diagnosis, referral, and treatment.  

  • Build, develop, and lead a diagnosis / market development team  

  • Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders at the enterprise level.  

  • Develop and defend investment cases tied to portfolio value creation.  

  • Design a measurement and reporting plan to identify early signals of impact and to hold the team accountable for executing on aligned priorities  

  • Own budget planning, agency partnerships, and financial stewardship.  

  • Support the Global Program Teams’ business objectives 

Who You Are:

You have a Bachelors Degree along with a minimum years of experience 5-10years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech marketing, progressive experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including experience in HCP/medical or market access roles and have demonstrated impact in strategies focused on market expansion or diagnosis 

You are or you also have: 

  • Demonstrated success leading U.S. product launches in specialty or rare disease markets; respiratory experience preferred. 

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence at senior levels, and deliver strong commercial results. 

  • Exceptional strategic, analytical, and communication skills; adept at synthesizing data and insights into actionable plans. 

  • Track record of people leadership, talent development, and team building. 

  • Deep understanding of FDA promotional review processes and pharmaceutical compliance requirements. 

  • Authentic commitment to patients living with serious or rare diseases. 

 

Where You’ll Work  

This is a hybrid role based out of our Bridgewater NJ office. You’ll have the option to work remotely most of the time, with in-person collaboration when it matters most.  

 

Travel Requirements 

This role requires occasional travel (approximately 30%)

Pay Range:

$214,000.00-292,000.00 Annual
