Job Description

NBC Sports Boston, the local TV home of the Boston Celtics, is looking for a talented, motivated, and enthusiastic content producer who loves all aspects of graphic design and creative production. If you thrive on collaborative ideation, execution, autonomy, and creativity, then we’re looking for you!

The ideal candidate brings a passion for design combined with relentless curiosity to develop and enhance all aspects of production. You must be skilled in design, editing, cinematography, and aware of trends in sports media and pop culture. You will create logos, assets, and content for NBC Sports Boston’s programs like the Boston Celtics, New England Patriots programming, Early Edition, and support our booming digital content! You will work with our live event teams, social/digital departments, and exciting roster of studio talent in a high energy, high speed and collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and pitch visual concepts for all major network initiatives with consideration of story, photography, cinematography, design language and final edit.
  • Create high quality logos and assets to be used for Celtics game broadcasts and studio programming.
  • Work proactively to develop new tools, templates, and designs for use in social and digital marketing.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team of producers and graphic designers to enhance network promotional materials and branding.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Adobe Premiere, After Effects and, Photoshop
  • Must be able to provide a demo reel of recent work
  • College degree or 2 years of equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in 3D graphic creation software like Blender, Unreal Engine, Cinema4D, etc.

Additional Job Requirements: 

  • Ability to work quickly under tight deadlines in a live TV environment
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude with the ability to handle multiple rounds of feedback
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends & holidays as needed
  • Ability to assist with major initiatives across all NBC and Telemundo properties in Boston as nee
  • Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
